This temple is one of the famous temple in the Coimbatore District , located in the heart of the city, near Town hall in Big Bazaar Street. The temple is situated one kilometer from Coimbatore Railway Station. The presiding Deity Koniamman is celebrated as guardian deity of Coimbatore. Six kala Poojas are performed.
அருள்மிகு கோனியம்மன் திருக்கோயில் கோயமுத்துர் மாநகரின் மையப்பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ளது. கோயமுத்துர் இரயில் நிலையத்திலிருந்து 1 கீ.மீ தொலைவில் பெரிய கடைவீதியில் நகர் மண்டபம் அருகில் அமைந்துள்ளது. கோவையின் காவல் தெய்வமாக கோனியம்மன் வணங்கப்படுகிறாள். இத்திருக்கோயிலில் 6 கால பூஜைகள் நடைபெறுகிறது. கோவை மக்களின் பிராத்தனை ஸ்தலமாக இத்திருக்கோயில் விளங்குகிறது.
