There is no separate history regarding arulmigu angalamman temple. This temple is estimated to be more than 300 years old. This goddess is being worship as village deity.
அருள்மிகு அங்காளம்மன் திருக்கோயிலுக்கென்று தனிப்புராணம் எதுவுமில்லை. இத்திருககோயில் சுமார் வருடங்களுக்கு முற்பட்ட திருக்கோயிலாகும். இககோயிலை ஊர் தெய்வமாக பேரூர் வாழ் மக்களால் வழிபடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
